I count it both a privilege and a joy to be the pastor of Cadiz Baptist Church. It truly is a wonderful place to serve. If you've never been to Cadiz Baptist we would love to have you come and be with us to experience the joy of Christ. The people are friendly and the services are upbeat, encouraging and challenging.  Sometimes we laugh and sometimes we cry.  The messages are both biblical and practical.

At Cadiz Baptist Church, we do not claim to have arrived in our Christian faith. We have a long way to go. We preach the unconditional love of a God who loves us just the way we are but who also loves us to much to leave us that way.

Philippians 1:6 says it like this: "He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus." We would love to have you come and join us in discovering more of what it means to grow in this incredible journey called "life."

I am honored to be the Youth Minister and work with students at Cadiz Baptist Church. We are a church who loves teenagers. Our Youth Ministry strives to:

- provide a community where students are accepted as they are
- expose them to the love and grace of Jesus
- provide them tools to grow as believers
- give them opportunities to put hands and feet on their faith.

I want students to know that they matter to God and their lives matter to God. Their every day - walking around, going to school, going to work, playing sports, hanging out with friends - lives. They matter so much that God desires a relationship with them through Jesus.

Mike Rose, Minister of Music

"Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day."

The psalmist instructs us to proclaim God's salvation every day. One way he suggests that we do so is through music. I have been Worship Minister at Cadiz Baptist Church for over twenty years, and while in this capacity, have been singing and instructing people in Cadiz to proclaim the salvation of God all the while. We have a variety of music opportunities at our church, and we would be delighted to find a place for you to join us in our ministry here. Whether this is in either of the choirs in our children's music ministry, our Sanctuary Choir, or Praise Team, our Brass Ensemble, or in Solo ministry or occasional Handbell Ensembles, there is a place for virtually everyone!
