The heartbeat of Cadiz Baptist’s ministry is missions. It starts right here in Trigg County as we reach out to our local community. Our members passion for missions extends far beyond that to mission trips across our state and even internationally. We organize a variety of mission projects ourselves and, in others, we participate with other churches and organizations. Here are some of our ongoing efforts as we strive to be a caring church sharing the Good News of God’s love through Jesus Christ:

 - One of our regular mission efforts is monthly trips to the Genesis Home for girls. Our members interact with girls who need positive role models and interaction with stable, caring Christians.

 - We partner with other area churches in Trigg County Upward Basketball. Upward Basketball is a sports ministry for children in grades K – 4. Children are giving the opportunity to participate in a sport in a fun, positive, and non-competitive environment. 

 - Each Thanksgiving we provide facilities for Trigg County’s Community Thanksgiving Meal. Along with other churches, our members donate food, time and other resources to provide a free Thanksgiving lunch to anyone who needs it.

- Our Brotherhood has raised support to finance the building of four churches in the nation of Bangladesh.  Members of our church have served on mission trips there ensuring safe drinking water for people all over the country.

- Our members participate in projects organized by the Little River Baptist Association. These projects include the Christian Women’s Job Corp, local Disaster Relief Teams, Oneida Baptist Institute, the Mississippi Mission Trip, and the Brazil Mission Trip.

 - We are the area collection point for Operation Christmas Child. We donate shoe boxes gifts filled with toys and other items for children all over the world.

 - Each Christmas we participate in the Lottie Moon offering for International Missions. At Easter, we collect for the Annie Armstrong for missions in North America. Both of these offerings provide resources for missionaries all over the world. We also participate in the Thanksgiving offering for Kentucky Baptist Homes for Children.
